Eligen el TOP 10 de los mejores personajes en PlayStation

El reconocido portal IGN realizó una encuesta donde los fans de PlayStation eligieron al mejor héroe de la historia de PlayStation. Más de 40 mil jugadores participaron en él.

La encuesta se llevó a cabo en un formato no muy convencional. Los editores del medio seleccionaron a 123 de los personajes más populares de los juegos que se lanzaron en las consolas de Sony ( en todas). Durante la votación, los personajes se dividieron aleatoriamente en parejas. Los jugadores tenían que elegir uno de dos personajes. El ganador es el que ganó más duelos. 

El resultado fue el siguiente: El primer lugar lo ocupó Kratos de God of War, ganando en un 89,4% de los duelos. En segundo lugar quedó Nathan Drake de Uncharted (83,2%). El top tres lo cierra Joel de The Last of Us (80,8%).

Se anuncia edición limitada Ps4 PRO The Last of Us Part II

Estamos a solo un mes del lanzamiento de The Last of Us Part II y en Sony alistan una edición limitada temática de PS4 Pro. La consola cuenta con una representación del tatuaje de Ellie en la superficie. El control tiene el mismo detalle además del logo del juego en el panel táctil.

El pack incluye una copia del juego y contenido descargable, todo por 399.99 dólares. También tendremos la posibilidad de comprar por separado audífonos y un disco duro de 2 TB referentes al juego. Con un valor de 9.99 y 89.99 respectivamente.

PlayStation 4  acaba de marcar un hito al sobrepasar el  centenar de millones de unidades vendidas  en menor tiempo, en  toda la historia de PlayStation.

La compañía japonesa ha informado que PlayStation 4,  lanzado el 15 de noviembre de 2013, ha superado la valla de las 100 millones de consolas vendidas a nivel mundial en un lapso de 6 años, un tiempo menor comparado al que tuvieron otras consolas de la compañía para alcanzar esta cifra.

En cuanto a los juegos, desde el día de su lanzamiento hablamos de 1000 millones de copias vendidas, aunque no se especifica si se incluye el formato digital. El servicio PS Plus también lidera el mercado de membresías de videojuegos al ostentar 36,2 millones de usuarios.

Sony patenta sistema que elimina el tiempo de carga

Sony se ha tomado en serio el planteamiento de que los tiempos de carga sean cosa del pasado. Hace un mes, Mark Cerny ingeniero encargado en la arquitectura de la nueva PlayStation 5 dio a conocer sus primeras especificaciones.  Entre las novedades hizo hincapié en lo importante que será el aspecto de la velocidad de carga.

Como se sabe hasta el momento, la consola de nueva generación incorporará una unidad SSD. Con estas unidades obtendremos tiempos de carga considerablemente menores, comparados a lo que actualmente conocemos en la PlayStation 4. Pero eso no sería todo, al parecer, esta nueva inclusión estaría acompañada de un sistema  que Sony acaba de patentar.

El obejtivo de la compañía japonesa para su próxima consola sería eliminar las pantallas de carga, aunque no se ha confirmado si este nuevos sistema será aplicado de manera parcial o total en la Ps5 o en algún otro nuevo dispositivo.

Hace unas semanas pudimos ver un comparativo de carga del juego Spider – Man entre una PlayStation 4 PRO y lo que sería el prototipo de una PlayStation 5. Los resultados fueron sorprendentes, abriendo camino a un futuro con tiempos de carga casi inexistentes y donde posiblemente se aplique esta nueva tecnología.
