Amazon anunció una serie basada en God of War. El proyecto estará a cargo de Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures Television y PlayStation Productions.
Rafe Judkins estará a cargo como productor ejecutivo de la adaptación. El guión estará escrito por Mark Fergus y Hawk Ostby, quienes trabajaron en las películas Iron Man y Child of Man, el cual fue nominada al Oscar. Cory Barlog también tendrá un cargo como productor ejecutivo.
El programa aún no tiene elenco, fecha de inicio de filmación o fecha de estreno. Tampoco está claro quién los dirigirá. Solo se sabe que la adaptación se estrenará en el servicio de streaming de Amazon Prime Video.
